I fail to understand, why

As someone who is currently undergoing trial and error of apt therapy, there seems an addressed disparity of medicine accessibility!

Despite being a doctor, I cannot afford a personal license.

With the data available from National Mental Health Survey, around 8 lakhs of Indian adult have ADHD, due to low awareness and underdiagnosis, this number falls short of global prevalence.

Can they all be expected to procure personal licenses? Is ADHD not a disease enough to have updated medicines?

While Autism is an addressed disability, there is no scope of reasonable ADHD accommodations even based on severity at par with international guidelines. National Mental Health Program and Policy both miss out the issue. What are the barriers?
